How we see.
When we think of vantage points, we consider not only how we and others move through, perceive and encounter counterpublics, but also the implications of how we document counterpublics and how we are call and call others to perceive counterpublics. Consider the proximities of being close vs distant, being above or on the street, being passive or active, being still or in motion. How might we subvert the imposing nature of the camera, to recognise instead of capture counterpublics? Our positonality matters as we are not only affected by counterpublics, but we also affect them.
